Why is it OK for this site to offer advice on masturbation techniques? Is that a good discussion for children?

Why doesn't Yahoo! have a category called Yahoo!/porn?

Techniques are offered in detail, why not just show pictures with the explanations? Why is it OK for this site to offer advice on masturbation techniques? Is that a good discussion for children?
I don't agree that such a subject should be on Yahoo!. It is very personal and for children it is the parents that know best their children and know their mentality and progress. No child is like another and so such delicate and important issues are better dealt with more privacy. It is more the parents that should be thought about it to be able to answer their children when being asked.

This part of Yahoo! should not be available to children especially that young. Why is it OK for this site to offer advice on masturbation techniques? Is that a good discussion for children?
    Children should have supervision anyway.
parent should be monitoring their children not internet technicians...
Why don't you buy a magazine.
    What's wrong with children masturbating?

Most boys spent half their lives with their dick in their hands.

Christ, when I was a kid, we were so poor that if I wasn't a boy, I wouldn't have had ANY toys.

Children aren't supposed to be on this site unless they have their parents permission.

Don't be such a prude. Masturbation is the healthiest thing in the world, and four year olds know how to do it already. What's wrong with them learning how to do it better, if they have their parents permission to be on this Adult site?
If old enough to be able to masturbate then it is healthy to do so!
alot of children dont find it easy to talk to there parents about things like that so whats wrong with asking advice on the net??
It is OK to discuss and to give guidance to all children for this sex and masturbation is the part of sex education !It is always better to give a good real knowledge of anything and this such a subject that many youngster may not like to make question in person because of many things like they shy and they feel guilty also !So this is a best platform for those who really want to understand it !You have suggested good thing to provide a video clip for that but there are many porn sites also don't this job ! It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool then to speak and remove all doubt.POLL: Would you rather give people the wrong advice, hoping that it might be correct; or no advice, knowing..?
If I didn't think my advice was good or helpful I would say so. I'd do my best to send the person seeking advice to someone who could help them, but I would never give advice that I thought could be wrong, my conscious couldn't take that.
I would never intentionally give someone the wrong advice. I will tell them what I do know and if it's an opinion, I will make it very clear that it is just my opinion.
I will answer anything random, but if a person is asking for legitimate help, I only answer if I know the right one.
You ask for advice from a few people then come to your own conclusion. Advice is only somebody else's opinion about what you should do.
    Neither.
No advice, knowing. If I gave someone the wrong advice and screwed their lives, I'd get it back three times worse.
Advice is just that, I realize it may be wrong, I give it as much weight as an opinion. xox
i would hope any advice i give is taking with merit.
I would always give hugs and say ask on yahoo answers :P
i give my opinion...not my advice

My skin is dry and when I put on foundation it goes into lines and flakes. Any advice?

When I first put on foundation it looks good, but quickly dries into laughter lines etc and sometimes flakes. I moisturise, exfoliate and look after my skin.My skin is dry and when I put on foundation it goes into lines and flakes. Any advice?
DON`T do it,think of it as a lie all over your face. IT IS!!!My skin is dry and when I put on foundation it goes into lines and flakes. Any advice?
Try the Make-Up called Bare Minerals (also called Bare Essentuals). You can get it at QVC or on Ebay. It is great. I use it all the time. :o)
i use lotion it help keep your face smooth!!!
Girl, u need to use this product by Estee Lauder. It is pricey, but it is the ONLY product I have found to work w/my dry, flaky patches! It is called ';Idealist'; skin refinisher. It smells great and makes your skin feel silky smooth. Use this first and then put on your moisturizer, followed by your foundation.

U might also want to look at what u r cleansing ur skin w/. I have occasional oily breakouts so I use a Neutrogena cleanser w/salicyllic acid. This isn't good during the winter because it TOTALLY dries it up even more. So, in the winter, I switch to something milder...Cetaphil.
The exfoluant many be some of the problem, you are removing good oils as well. Try a makeup called Bare Minerals. it a powder with full coverage. I love it. It lasts 4 months for 20.00. Cant bet that. Ulta has it.
Try using a bit of moisturizure before adding the foundation and make it sure it's smoothed out. That shouldhelp.
try exfoliating your face first you can steam it by boiling some water put it in a large bowl hover you face above it with a towel on your head this open all of your pores ideal for cleansing or exfoliating this will leave you with a smooth layer of skin and your foundation will spread much better also try using a water based foundation no oily residue. Good Luck ; )!
Here's what I do, and I tend to dry, flaky skin:

    Drink a lot of water.

Exfoliate GENTLY. You can get flakes from over-doing it!

After your shower, while you are still wet, rub a drop of olive oil into your skin, let it dry.

Apply moisturizer, creamy may be better for you than lotion. You can also mix a bit of your foundation with the moisturizer, goes on sheer, and doesn't cake up.
Apply a light coating of moisturizer (I use lotion) first!
exfoliate less and let the natural oils of your face moisturize it.If that is not enough then use CLINIQUE moisturizer you shall see the difference in 6 days
    It might be bad foundation.

Or it might very well be that your skin is dry because you're dehydrated. My skin reacts exactly like that when that is the case. Drink a LOT of water for the next couple of days and see what happens.

Drink like 9-15 cups a day. Just as a test.

By the way, to stay hydrated you need to find out how much water YOUR body needs a day. Cut your body weight in half and that's how many OUNCES of water YOUR body needs to stay hydrated and healthy. Think about it. Everyone has a different body structure and weight. We all just can't drink 8 glasses a day.
Use a good moisturizer. Cetaphile is great for all types of skin as has little additives.
    apply a moisturizer first
It could be the foundation you're using. I use Bare Minerals and I love it. Goes on awesome, looks natural and doesn't clog pores or settle into lines. Moisturizing is key also, although you mentioned that you do this already.
Keep piling on the foundation, like a plasterer would, until it's all nice and smooth.
a light moisturizer, perhaps Oil of Olay twenty to thirty minutes before you apply the foundation
try having a random stranger jizm on your face and smear it around with his tea bag. that'll cure the problem of you being ugly.
Maybe try using a different kind of moisturizer, try anything and everything until you find something that works. And while you are trying out these new moisturizers, try to hold off on putting on foundation. And if giving everything a try still doesn't work, then maybe you just have some kind of dry-skin condition, and I would suggest seeing a dermatologist in your area. Good luck! 8-)
I have recently started using Mary Kay cleanser and moisturizer. I have very dry flake skin also and I can not believe the change. I can now use foundation and blush without flakes and creases. I would recommend it for you. I had tried many expensive moisturizers before and this is the best I have used. Hope this helps.
A good way from keeping your face from getting so dry is to use some sort of scrub, I used apricot scrub from wal-mart, it's cheap but it works, it really helps get rid of all the dead skin and then put some lotion on your face. That should help with the makeup thing. I don't use makeup, so I honestly don't know about foundation or anything like that, but I'm assuming that the lotion will work
drink lot of liquids, that will regain moisture in your skin slowly a natural way. Simply if u r thirsty drink sufficently, otherwise dont drink, its that easy.
Get a foundation that has oil in it. If your skin is dry, the oil should help, not damage.

  • I`ll be trying out for the highschool volleyball team soon any advice?

also, what are the requirements usually in highschool volleyball? thanks!I`ll be trying out for the highschool volleyball team soon any advice?
    Hi.

The requirements will vary depending on how competitive the school is. Sometimes if not too many people try out everyone makes it.

I would do a little research on the rules so you have an idea of what you are doing. Also, how much you've played and what your skills are will make a difference - the more practice beforehand the better. But having solid fundamentals is important - so make sure you practice with people who know how to play. There is a saying - ';you can't teach height'; - so the taller you are the bigger your advantage will be. Don't let any of this worry you even if you have never played before. At the freshman level, the coach is looking for potential - someone who can learn and become good. Being in good shape, listening to the coach, and having a good attitude will go along way.I`ll be trying out for the highschool volleyball team soon any advice?
you ha ve to be in top condition.. ie running the mile and being fit is key

    =]

and you need to beable to play anyspot

    GOOOD LUCK.

    hope you make it

    =]

best of luck. my wishes to ya!
you will need jersey in your team just concentrate and give your best in all games
Show the coach your abilities. and try not to bother the coach about whether or not you made it.

Try to share the ball, and show off your strengths.
Try your hardest! For good coaches, an effort counts. Freshman ball shouldn't be that competitive, but you should know how to pass well (particuarly to the setter, or ';zero spot';) and serve. You should also know how to hit, or spike, with an appropriate approach (right, left, together, jump) and how to block when the person on the opposite side is hitting. I played all the way up through college and my most important quality to my team was the fact that I could pass extremely well. I also never really tried to learn the overhand serve. My underhand serve worked well for me and I was comfortable with it and over the years I was able to perfect it just as well as any overhand serve. As long as you give it an effort, listen to your coach's advice and enjoy the sport, you should be fine. Good luck!!!

I wanna pierce my tongue but i wanna be careful, can u give me some advice?

Be sure to use mouth wash the way you are told to,stay away from spicy foods for about 2-3 weeks, no french kissing, try not to drink anything that contains acid, if you follow all the rules you should ok....Good Luck! :)I wanna pierce my tongue but i wanna be careful, can u give me some advice?
Go to a professional.I wanna pierce my tongue but i wanna be careful, can u give me some advice?
Okay, why are you saying ';I';? Are YOU going to do it yourself?

I had one for 2 years and loved it. Hardly anyone knew I even had it. I did have to take it out though, I mean you grow up and kinda grow out of the whole thing. But I had a professional do it and the clamp that they hold your tounge with hurts more then the actual piercing. I couldn't eat or talk for 1-2 days but I had no infections at all and all I did to take care of it besides normal oral hygiene was clean it a lot during the first month, they will tell you everything you need to know when you get it done.

Check out a few places, if you know anyone with a tongue ring ask them where they got it. Just ask a lot of questions when you go and then take a week to really think about it again. If you are sure by that point go for it. Have fun.
ya my best advise is DONT DO IT IT IS DESCUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!鈥?br>

how grose is a pierce tonge?

very very very very very very gross trust me!
THE BEST ADVICE I WOULD GIVE YOU IS DONT DO IT THAT IS CRAZY YOU'LL THANK ME LATER!!!!!
My hubby has his peierced and no not for sexual reasons!! He just used the mouth wash like they said (every time he ate) and brushed around his tounge well every time he brushed his teeth. Also keep the jewlery away from your teeth. He has had the piercing for almost a year and he still cares for it the same way as if it was a new piecing and he has had NO problems with it..
Sure don't do it, you'll regret it. This trend will pass soon enough.
My advice is don't do it. It can mess up your teeth (that is what dentists say), as well as destroy some of the taste buds on your tongue. I believe this damage is permanent.
    Don't. It's dangerous and crude.
Are you crazy???? If you want to be careful, don't do it yourself. Not only could you get a nasty infection, you could either bleed to death or hit a nerve and paralyze your tongue. I'm not an expert, but why would you risk doing something like this yourself? I had my tongue pierced by a professional and it hurt like hell and bleed for a long time. The only advice I can give you is to NOT DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My advice is to not do it. It swells up and can get infected. It's not attractive and will be out of style soon.
This isn't a do-it-yourself project, have a pro do it, there are some large blood vessels that, if broken, can acually cause you to bleed to death. Why people do this I have no clue, but if you are going to do it, get it done right.
dude...!!! dont do it, its not worth it!!! and yer might get some infection, anyway ya shouldnt do it yerself either...bad, bad choice/decision...i wanted to get mine pierced, but there were rejects and advices from friends and family not to do it..and i am glad i didnt do it...maybe yer wanna do yer belly button?? i think its kinda cool and funky, not gayish though!!!
If you absolutely are going to, invest in some Listerine and rinse out your mouth about every half hour, and do it well! My sister said her ';artist'; suggested it to keep possible infections at bay. Also, don't plan on eating for 24 hours, your tongue will be too swollen.
I think its more effort than its worth!

Most people chew on them, thats how they wreck your teeth.

Itd be a constant pain in the *** cleaning %26amp; takin care of it - for little reward.

And now theyre so common its not even a novelty... like tattoos.

Go an eyebrow ring instead - I think theyre way funkier :o)

I am planning a trip to Europe from Netherlands to other parts please advice me which cheapest transportati?

Cheap airlines might be almost as cheap if you book early:

    or http://www.skyscanner.net/eur/?redirectu…

    Train:

If you want to travel a lot and are living in Europe (at least 6 months) InterRail might be right:

    http://www.interrailnet.com/

If you are not European, and want to travel a lot, like about one out of each 2 days, Eurail:

http://www.raileurope.com/us/rail/passes… But often point to point tickets are cheaper.

You can hitch-hike, but that is risky, you can book hitch-hiking through sites, I do not have a link but that is less risky.

Walking may cost less in transport, but you will end up paying much more for your travels, as you will have to pay for more days food and places to stay.

Hostels are the cheaper option to stay, coach surfing even cheaper:

I have a serious Problem, a little advice will be great.?

I have a prue breed roit puppy, bout 81/2 weeks old, last week her chow finish is i went to buy her some, and they didn't have what she eat, so i bought her another good brand.

At the end of the week, she went for her 2nd booster shot, which was due three days before.

She ate the new chow but when she got the booster shot she hardly eat that day, then two days now she have not eaten just drink water, i notice her belly is looking full, like when she eat.

she look very week and her ribs is now starting to show.

Beside, i'm carrying her to the vet today.

Can any one tell me what is going on.

Her stool is watery.I have a serious Problem, a little advice will be great.?
cant tell you if it has anything to do with the shots or not, however i can tell you that you should never switch your dogs food in that way!! if you need to change your dog's diet, slowly wean them off of the old food and onto the new food, or they will have digestive problems!! and its not heartworm, dogs cant get heartworm until 5 months.. when we brought our dog home from the humane society, she had canine coccydia (not sure of spelling) which is a bacterial infection. ask your vet to give your dog tests!!I have a serious Problem, a little advice will be great.?
um...... she might be allergic to the new food! A lot of pure breed dogs have problems with different types of dog food!
    maybe heart worms
food poisoning? let her eat some grass..it's a natural medical way..hopefully she will throw some out.
Well, when you switch a dog's food you are supposed to gradually do it by start mixing in a little of the new each day until you've got it switched. That was the first problem. The dog may have had a reaction to the shot as well.
Whenever you switch dog foods you must do so gradually, not abruptly. Usually when you switch you should slowly mix the newer food into the old one a little bit at a time, until the old stuff runs out.

A puppy's stomach is more sensitive to change than a full grown dog. She might be reacting to a different food formulation. Hopefully, your vet will give her a clean bill of health and this condition will be temporary.
your dog puppy probably had a allergic reaction like are dog did with r rot when she was young yours dogs immune system is probably down so u should get it quarintined i hope ur dog feels better
GET THIS PUPPY TO THE VET TODAY. No one on here is going to be qualified enough to diagnose your puppy. She needs to have some bloodwork run, she sounds like she is not doing well at all.

If her ribs are showing and she has diarrhea, I would guess that it is some sort of intestinal virus, which is never good.

    Good luck.
It may just be worms. Puppies are prone to them. Also, could be parvo. I am glad you are taking her to the vet. Puppies are very vulnerable to illness. Hope she is ok.
She prolly had a reaction to the medicine or the medicine changed her liking of that new food you bought her.
Changing the food so fast like that is very hard on a puppys stomach and she most likely has gotten an upset stomach and the diarrhea is from the fast food switch.

Puppys are very sensitive to food and switching like that can casue the problems you have. It should pass.

The other sounds like a reaction to the shots. Many dogs have an allergic reaction to shots and ifyou tell the vet they can give them some benedryl to help with that.

Talk to yourbet and they should be able to your puppy back on the right track and feeling better soon.

    Good luck.
I have a yokie whos 5yr old. He always getts sick after a shot. If it last for more than 2 days I would call and check with your vet. If he's rinning a temp ask if its ok to give baby tylenol. Since his tummy is bloated though I would take him to the vet. Good Luck

Photographing a golf tournament- what advice would you have for shooting, and what are some basic rules?

I would think not taking a photo during the players approach or downswing. Any other advice or good angles I should consider?

Thank you!Photographing a golf tournament- what advice would you have for shooting, and what are some basic rules?
yeah one rule.. they don't allow camera's at PGA events. (I'm assuming you are talking about a profesional tournament) you would have to have a press pass.

But yes you are correct that if you do have the abbility to photograph a golf tourney do not capture your photo's until after the player has struck the ball. That's the only thing I can think of...Photographing a golf tournament- what advice would you have for shooting, and what are some basic rules?
Hope that you have a photographic memory, because cameras are not allowed on the grounds for competitive rounds during PGA events unless you are an accredited member of the press.

I am planning to go on vacation not sure if hawaii or spain. Any advice. It must be kid friendly?

I have never been to Hawaii, but I can tell you what Spain is like, as I have just come back from Barcelona :)

I would not consider Spain to be a kid friendly destination, as most attractions are either artistic, architectural or cultural. Photo-junkies will have a great time - the buildings, amongst other things, are extravagant and probably the world's most beautiful. The food in Spain is great for adults (seafood, rich tasting foods), but children will most probably not be able to enjoy this, and will have to stick to the generic children's food that you would be able to find anywhere else in the world.

Sorry, this was a bit rushed. I've got to start unpacking!I am planning to go on vacation not sure if hawaii or spain. Any advice. It must be kid friendly?
At this point in time with the way things are and beings that you are looking for kid friendly I have to say go to Hawaii. I lived in Spain and Hawaii for a couple years in each. I would say go to Maui. There is so much to do kid wise. I mean the kids can do countless beach and water activities. Plus your in the united states ya know? Spain is a predominately Muslim country and with all that's going on you never know. Hawaii is more exciting for kids anyway. What are you going to take your kid to spain and check out art and architecture? Kids want action and fun and hopefully so do you. Hawaii is Paradise. Spain is a foreign country geared towards older travelers, I feel. So Aloha. and Pass the Poi Ma halo.I am planning to go on vacation not sure if hawaii or spain. Any advice. It must be kid friendly?

Does anyone have good advice for someone who is a senior in high schoo and is trying to get into Harvard Law?

I have a 4.0 Get all a's am awesome in school but i need help!Does anyone have good advice for someone who is a senior in high schoo and is trying to get into Harvard Law?
I'm in my last year of law school (not Harvard, but a similarly reputable school; I got waitlisted at HLS), and I don't really agree with some of the above advice (i.e. pre-law program, political science, community college, etc). Their advice sounds pretty generic and wouldn't really help someone who wants to get into HLS. I do second going to the best college you can get into, but that's going to depend on more than just your GPA (i.e. SAT score, activities, essays, recommendations, etc). I'd advise you to go to HLS's website and see if you can find a list of the most represented colleges in their student body (they usually have this list on their site). Naturally, many of them will be Ivy League schools, public Ivies like the University of Michigan, Berkeley, UCLA, UVirginia, etc and other schools on an Ivy level such as Stanford and Duke.

As far as what you study, just don't major in anything that's considered bs. Law schools like Harvard see so many political science majors that they don't really value that major, but they also don't like majors like Creative Writing, Criminal Justice or just anything that they think is too easy (i.e. doesn't involve developing strong reading, analytical and writing skills). To that end, philosophy is one of the best majors for people going to law school. Ultimately, what you need to do is study something you feel you can do well in, because in order to get into HLS you'll need a similar kind of GPA as you have now in high school.

HLS likes applicants who stand out. So in addition to a good undergraduate school and good grades, make sure you get involved on campus and get some leadership positions. Even start an organization, since schools like HLS look for strong leadership skills. Definitely get involved in activities that demonstrate you're serious about law school. I was President of my school's Pre-Law Society, for example. Get close to a few professors so you can make sure you have some who will write you strong recommendations. I'd also advise taking a few years off after college and working. If you do this, work a good job and not just something like Starbucks or McDonalds. Approximately half of people getting into law school nowadays have worked for a few years before law school, and I did this, as well (started my own business, which also looks good to law schools). Write a senior thesis during college or do something that allows you to do a lot of research, i.e. research for a professor. Take a lot of courses that involve a lot of analytical writing, such as English courses--as a lawyer, you will write a LOT. Reading, researching and writing well are so essential for lawyers, and that's almost ALL most of us do. We don't ';argue'; nearly as much as people think we do, so I don't know about debate and how much that helps...besides, you will have time to do that kind of thing as tailored to how lawyers do it once you get to a law school, i.e. we have moot court competitions and mock trials. Debate is not really like that.

I can't think of anything else right now, but feel free to contact me if you have questions.Does anyone have good advice for someone who is a senior in high schoo and is trying to get into Harvard Law?
    OK. Here's what to do:

Apply to the usually recommended 3 or 4 universities: one or two tip-top ivy league schools (like Harvard), one or two state universities that have admissions standards that are less competitive, and one ';safety net'; school like your nearest open-admissions community college.

OR, if you prefer, do 2 years at the community college and then transfer to the best university in your state--that would be a lot cheaper and the quality would (trust me) be the same if not higher.

But in your case, I'd say major in pre-law, take lots of business and accounting electives, and participate in the debate team (which means that you should steer toward a university that has one, and not a community college). Also try hard to make a network of contacts with lawyers--volunteer to do work at a local legal aid society or get a job as a runner for a big law firm.

Late in junior year, take the LSAT. ACE THE SUCKER!!!!! Do whatever you have to do to post a top score on the LSAT--buy preparation packets, take sample LSATs, etc. A top score is essential for a top school.

Early in senior year, you'll apply to Harvard law (and for thoroughness, Yale Law and U Mich Law or any other top schools you'll consider--and one state university law school where you're a dead lock to get in as ';safety net';). Your debate team experience and volunteer or paid work in legal settings will look good, and letters of recommendation will help especially if they come from lawyers. Naturally, your college GPA and specific course work will also be a consideration. If they interview you or ask for an essay, try to communicate how you think that the law is essential to society at large and how grateful you are to all those who've made your progress possible to this point.

The reason for applying early is to make yourself available for a wider range of financial aid.

Good luck and please don't sue me if I'm wrong here :-)
In order to get into law school you first must have a bachelors degree. If you want to do law school I suggest political science. Otherwise just keep up your gpa, and take the LSATs your junior year to help you prepare more. Applying to law school, or grad school in general is just like applying to college the first time around.
My best advice to you is to go to a very good university, not necessarily Harvard, but a university in which you will do very good. Get into a pre-law program and stick with it till graduation. A year or two before graduation is when you should start concentrating on getting into Harvard Law. As a high school senior your main priorities should be what I mentioned above.

I have some great articles for high school seniors who are about to be college students, check them out!

    http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/47鈥?/a>
Congrats on your hard work to date.

First, I recommend you buy the book ';1L,'; which is Scott Turow's slightly fictionalized account of his first year attending Harvard Law. It might alter your perspective a bit. Second, do the obvious things: do well in college, attend the best college you can get into (though that's not absolutely necessary) - preferably one of the undergrads that tends to get a higher % into Harvard, like Princeton or Yale. Third, do really really well on the LSAT. That last point cannot be underestimated so you want to prepare for that exam way in advance. This is somewhat cynical, but unless you were persecuted in some way and have an amazing tale to tell on your essays, you'll want to get something hovering around 170+ which is no easy task.

You may also want to buy ';How to get into Harvard Law School'; which is a collection of application essays compiled by Willie Epps. You'll get some sense for the wide, perhaps novel spectrum of students they admit. Final point: why limit yourself to Harvard? I know the name opens many doors in our society currently, but Yale and others have as strong of a reputation if not stronger when it comes to law school. It's all subjective anyhow.

Disclaimer: I did not attend Harvard Law. I did, however, graduate with honors from a top tier law school. So caveat emptor. I would be remiss not to conclude by saying that no matter how many accolades you get, it will never satisfy your hunger. I am an exhibit for that point. But that's your path to tread.

    -sell ur xbox

-move xbox into a different room

-buy a lock for your door

-switch the yellow, red and white wires around before u comes in ur room then when he goes to play it wont work, he sounds dumb enough to not notice that what you did and will jsut get fustrated it wont work, then he'll leave.

    -hide ur games

-let ur brother beat you up, then ur parents will be forced to put him in a mental institution.

thats all what i can think of
xbox is super addicting, its not mental issues. My cousin was the same way, talking super loud not caring about people trying to sleep. Just unscrew the microphone he talks with and disconnect one of the cords, but dont get caught
You should really get a lock for your door/room. If not, hide your xbox and store it somewhere in the room like in a safe.
The red ring of death or E74 will certainly solve your problem.
    give him 10 dollars

Is this good advice for people considering working in the financial services industry?

don't apply to morgan stanley. apply to JP Morgan. Is this good advice for people considering working in the financial services industry?
    Apply to JP Morgan.

    Why J.P. Morgan?

    Six is the magic number.

When we asked our people 'why work at J.P. Morgan?' they couldn't think of a single reason. They thought of six. These, then, are the Hot Six, the top six reasons to choose J.P. Morgan as chosen by J.P. Morgan people across levels, business groups, and geographies.

The rest of the website will give you a much more in-depth insight to who we are and what we do, but you can take these six reasons as our promise to you and what you can expect when working with us. This is where you need to be, and this is why:

    1. Our scale, scope and prestige

This is where you'll benefit from our global success. Suffice to say that, with thousands of the world鈥檚 finest minds across the Investment Bank and Asset Management, in over 50 countries, you could be doing business just about anywhere. Precisely what you鈥檒l be doing will depend on your own goals, professionally and personally. Our goal is to become the best financial services company in the world. We鈥檒l expect the same level of ambition from you.

    2. Our reputation as a business innovator

This is where you鈥檒l think in new ways. Innovation has driven us from the earliest days, and continues to drive us now. New products, new partnerships, and new ways of doing business. We continue to build a strong foundation for long-term growth that enables us to accomplish the extraordinary. We鈥檙e the bank that helped build corporate America, rescued the New York Stock Exchange, created the world鈥檚 first billion-dollar corporation and invented the concept of relationship banking. And most recently, we successfully integrated Bear Stearns. We combine unprecedented global leverage in the markets with an entrepreneurial zeal that allows us to explore every facet of our industry.

    3. The quality of training and development

This is where you'll never stop learning. We take your continual development very seriously. Training is continuous and doesn鈥檛 end with the conclusion of your initial formal orientation and training program. Your trainers will include professors from the world鈥檚 best business schools and our senior people and leaders. The theoretical and the practical are combined here like nowhere else. No wonder we're told that our training and development programs are the best in the industry.

    4. The chance to make a personal impact

This is where you can make a name for yourself. It鈥檚 our firm belief that the individual can only flourish as part of the team, for the benefit of all involved. On the job, your responsibilities and contributions will be substantial, and development and promotion are often rapid. Rewards are significant. But if you鈥檙e only in it for the money, then you鈥檙e probably not the kind of person we鈥檙e interested in. Those who do best are those whose motivations lie elsewhere 鈥?in the thrill of the deal, in new ways of doing business, in client satisfaction. Our best performers love their work, and work as part of an outstanding team.

    5. The exceptional quality of work

This is where you'll master complex challenges. Never underestimate how important your quality of work is. You鈥檒l be given opportunities every day 鈥?and right from the very start. You鈥檒l enjoy exposure to a quick-flowing pipeline of varied and high-quality work. You can work on the world鈥檚 top deals, manage money for sophisticated investors, make complex trades or launch cutting-edge products in global finance. The challenges you face will test you professionally and drive you to develop personally. And if you鈥檙e anything like us, you wouldn鈥檛 have it any other way.

    6. The spirit of cooperation and teamwork

This is where you'll inspire, support, and connect. Our success depends on our open, intellectually honest culture. Before too long, we鈥檒l expect you to inspire your colleagues. But let them inspire you, too. Don鈥檛 be afraid to ask for help. Enjoy your work. Build life-long friendships. And always remember that it鈥檚 all about the team. After all, you鈥檒l be part of the best there is.

    that's horrible.

    i know how you feel.

    not quite, but close.

just be thankful for what you have.

be thankful you are still here, and living.

others wouldn't have been so lucky,

    be greatful you survived.

read a joke book, that always helps me hahaWays to be happy? any advice?
Being almost 50, I've felt the same way at times. Think of things you really like to do- then make the time to do them. Try new things. Change your routine. For me, I like to listen to music- especially jazz.

Also, keep an open mind about your job. And if it's not to your liking, find another one before you quit.
What makes me happy is reading a good book and laughing and also listening to music. Listening to one of my favorite artist. I also like to write poetry and that make me very happy.

I am seeking advice on changing my workout routine so that I can loose more weight and tone up my body?

I try to follow a workout routine were I start off with 80 to 90 minutes of cardiovascular exercise like spinning, cross-trainer and or stepper. This is followed by weights for an hour involving all the upper body muscle groups. I am trying to loose weight and tone up at the same time but not put on any muscle bulk. How can i change my routine as I think I might have plateaued and am experiencing no weight loss on the scales. Is doing the weights first followed by the CV workout a good approach? Any and all advice is welcome.I am seeking advice on changing my workout routine so that I can loose more weight and tone up my body?
Our bodies do get used to a workout routine. Even if we try to switch it up each day, our body can get used to the pattern that we work out in.

What I would recommend is to try just one form of cardio for a month and one type of weight lifting. Then, switch every 1 to 2 months.

    Here's an Example:

    Jan/Feb: Spinning and Free Weights

Mar/Apr: Cross Training and Pulley System Weight Lifting

May/Jun: Stair Stepper and Weight Machines

    Jul/Aug: Spinning and Free Weights

Sep/Oct: Cross Training and Pulley System Weight Lifting

Nov/Dec: Stair Stepper and Weight Machines

That way, every two months you switch it up. You keep your muscles guessing. By doing the different weight lifting systems (free weights, pulley weights, and machines) you'll be using SLIGHTLY different muscles and get a slightly different workout.

Don't switch up every day or week. Wait at least 4 weeks before you switch routines. (of course it's ok to throw in a day or two of something else here and there, but it's really recommended that you stick to one thing for one to two months).

Also, rest for a day inbetween your weight lifting. Only lift 3 or 4 days a week. Your muscles need that day to repair the microscopic tears in the muscle.

And, (as I believe everyone already knows) if you want to build muscle mass, lift the maximum weight possibe while still being safe and do as many reps as you can (if you can do more than 20, it's not your maximum weight). And, if you just want to have lean, toned muscles, lift less weight, and do more reps.

Another way to maximize your workout is to do the motions SLOW and CONTROLLED. Focus on the resistance on the way down, as well as on the way up. Each move should usually take about 2 seconds each direction (slowly say to yourself, ';up, two, down, two, up, two, down, two...';).

Hi.For the past ten years I have attended a private school. This year I'll be in a public high school. Advice?

I'm asking advice about the best ways to deal entering a new high schoolHi.For the past ten years I have attended a private school. This year I'll be in a public high school. Advice?
It's going to be a big difference. Since the majority of America can't afford to go to private schools, it seems as though there is a more affluent class of people that attend. When you enter public school, the people are going to be much more diverse. I think you would be shocked at all of the difference that you will. Brace yourself, %26amp; be ready for anything, because things are very different! Good Luck!Hi.For the past ten years I have attended a private school. This year I'll be in a public high school. Advice?
i hate public schools.... the food is nasty.... the bathrooms are dirty..... its nothing like a public school- sry that im being negative but its all true
the biggest difference is that not everyone is going to know you and your not going to be as close to everyone as it is in a private school. my advice is develop a group of friends that you can count on. don't get caught up in all the ';cool'; thing to do and be yourself. public schools are full of diversity so it should be easy to find people just like you!
    be ready for big changes
    prepare yourself for disgusting food.
Find a club or sport that you really like and join so you can develop a group of friends with the same interests as you. Plus getting involved makes school more fun.

Can anyone advice me which US University is good to transfer for international student?

I am currrently enrolled in American University in Central Asia, second year. Can anyone advice me which US University is good to transfer for international student?
All American universities accept international students. Some have larger populations of international students than others, but the vast majority will have a decent number on campus. So you could pick any US university for your transfer. Which one depends on things like where you'd like to go to school, your current grades, your TOEFL score, your major, and other factors.

  • I need advice on what the ideal dimensions are for maximizing trebuchet throwing distance?

i already built this trebuchet. it has a 100 lbs of counterweight, and is about 3 feet tall w/o the arm. the weights side of the arm is 12.6 in, and the throwing side is 39 inches. i have been fooling around with different slings, and i want more distance. i can throw a golf ball 215 feet with a 39 inch sling. and the biggest projectiles i can fit are golf balls, baseball, and softballs. can someone please help me launch stuff really really far?I need advice on what the ideal dimensions are for maximizing trebuchet throwing distance?
You're throwing 66 times the long arm length now, which isn't bad. Your short arm (the weight side of the arm) is long in proportion to the counterweight and the long arm (sling side). Moving the counterweight mounting point closer to the axle would give more tip speed. 8 inches would be better than 12.6.

One thing that would work would be to convert to a King Arthur or Whipper. They will throw about 80% farther than a conventional design.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLDS21YdE鈥?/a>

And you don't need 100 lbs to throw a golf ball. 20 is a lot.

Here's the month of November forecast: http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/bu鈥?/a>

I was in Barcelona, Spain on 18-20SEP06 and it was still very HOT, compared to the Southern California conditions at the time before I left. I bet it will still be slightly warmer there in Barcelona than here in CA. It was the most humid in Barcelona than any other city I visited (Granada, Seville, Toledo, %26amp; Madrid) at the end of September, so that is probably what contributed to the warmer weather there than anywhere else in Spain. Like I said, since it is now the middle of Fall, it will probably be cooler, but still warmer than Southern CA. Not sure where you're from, so I'm just comparing to where I'm at. It might be different depending on where your at.

I would bring long pants (jeans), sweatshirts, long sleeve shirts, as well as 1 or 2 short sleeve shirts (just in case you might need them), and a light jacket. You might want to bring your passport too! There are a LOT of sites to see in Barcelona. You should think about extending your trip so that you can do some sightseeing on your own, rather than being stuffed in a conference room 8-hrs a day and then being too tired to explore at night, which is when everything is closed anyway. Hopefully, your hotel is in the middle of the city so that you don't need to worry about getting back.
It should be in the 50-65 degree range (fahrenheit). I'd bring a couple of warm choices. The buildings may not be heated as well as you are used to, depending on where you are traveling from. Also bring an umbrella. It can tend toward rainy. Not sure where you are traveling from. The US? If so, be aware that in Spain people tend to dress a bit nicer for casual wear than in the US. Wearing jeans and tennis shoes to dinner is very American and if you like going to nightclubs many won't even let you in wearing tennis shoes.
The weather here is finally cooling down a bit so bring a light jacket and an umbrella, just in case. It has been unusually hot this October but today it is a comfortable low 70's F.

Would you prefer to take CNA course first for hands on experience?I am a 22 year old who is thinking about going to school for nursing? Any good advice? Good or bad time to go?
    You will have to work hard, but in the end it will all be worth it. I am currently working toward my Nursing degree and I am a single mother to a great 2 year old son. I wish I would have finished school before I became a mother, because I have to work twice as hard as I would have had to at your age. Life will through you curve balls so take this opportunity while you can before it is gone. You will need a job with retirement, insurance, vacation and sick leave, opportunity for advancement, etc.; and this is the job that you will be able to do that in. If you decide to travel instead of staying where you are, you can do that. Get in touch with a counselor at a college of your choice and get to know that person. Understand financial aid as well; these are mistakes I made going into school undecided. Good Luck on your decision.I am a 22 year old who is thinking about going to school for nursing?     Take your time. Study something that you would like to do every day. If you have a college in mind request a catalog, read the credits that you have to take first. Medical field could be a pain sometimes, specially with the MATH. Make sure before making a decision. GOOD LUCK%26gt;

Well, I'm in high school and my school has a CNA program. Helps us get internships and jobs in the future, etc. School for nursing is a good idea, its a fast growing job and you get good benefits.

I got my CNA lisences last year when I was 17, I don't like the work but I'm using my CNA training to get my college set and paid for. Working as a CNA, you get to be around real nurses who have been in the field and who can help you when your studying or getting your certication.

With CNA,you can get paid and go to school get advice from your coworkers. If your lucky like some of the kids in my class. They got there CNA and volunteer at the hostipal and now are getting grants from them to go to nursing school.

good deal if your trying to start a a good job and trying to have a stable job in this economy.

What is the percent of people who listen to advice from others?

I think most people who ask for advice will listen. But I believe the percentage of people that actually follow advice is very low, especially if it is contrary to what they believe or want to believe. My experience is most people seeking advice already know what they intend to do and are are looking for people to validate their decisions. What is the percent of people who listen to advice from others?
    probably 9%

  • I am a 24 year old male and i cannot last long during sex!Any tips or advice?

It feels so unbelievably sensitive everytime.I am a 24 year old male and i cannot last long during sex!Any tips or advice?
This is completely normal, especially since you're not that old. you're only 24, and as you get older and your body adjusts to the feelings of intercourse, then you will begin to last longer. There are things you can do to enhance the amount of time you last. It's also normal for the penis to feel so sensitive at times. This is generally due to the arousal/hormone level in your body.

One of the simplest things to do is to withdraw yourself when you feel your orgasm coming on. Just contine to caress and stimulate your partner until your body has pulled away from the orgasm and then reenter. You can do this as many times as you wish until the desired time is reached, then complete the orgasm. This is something that you can do instantly and won't have to wait for results. Doing some of the things the answer above me stated like switching positions, masturbating beforehand and such will help also. There is another method that you can use that will take some time, but will keep you able to last longer for a long while.

Doing Kegel Exercises help improve the amount of time you last and actually helps strengthen the bladder muscles too. The PC muscles will tighten and strengthen as you continue do this.

If you wish to find more information, feel free to reserach online or at your local library about the PC muscels and how you can strengthen them. Below is a site that will help you better understand Kegel exercises and how to do them. Hope this helps.I am a 24 year old male and i cannot last long during sex!Any tips or advice?
Kegel exercises help, but you need to use them correctly in order not to ejaculate prematurely.

Work out the pc muscle, but during sex, leave it relaxed... if not you can actually stimulate the prostate which can LEAD to a premature ejaculation.

    Here, check this out:

    Wear a thicker condom?

Are you good for 2 sessions in a row? Or is it 1 quickie and you're done? If you can get the 1st one over with and then go another time you'll likely last longer the 2nd time through.

Spend more time on foreplay so that the girl gets her time in. Also, during sex if you start getting close pull out and go back to foreplay and fondling and kissing.
my boyfriend only lasts like 5 minutes unless he does this..

    - masturbate before you have sex. either before the girl comes over, or you can have her jack you off / give you a bj before you guys have sex. that way you'll last longer bc it's the second time.

    - when you feel like you are about to ***, stop. get out and don't do anything with your penis. instead eat her out, makeout with her, finger her, rub her boobs, whatever. just make sure that your penis will not be stimulated. this makes sure you're still turned on but you won't ***, and it will give you another 5-10 minutes.

    - switch positions every now %26amp; then. it will give your dick a 10 second break or so.

    - think of something disgusting, but not so disgusting that your loose your erection. think about: your girlfriend bald, or in some horrible disgusting outfit. or your girlfriend getting fat.

-oh and wear a condom. not only is it safer, you will last longer because your penis does not get direct contact, which makes it not as sensitive.

    hope this helps!
Souds like you have a problem on your hands, but its not a big problem that cant be easily fixed, i would recommend that when ever you masterbate get really close to cumming, then stop. and repeat this for as long as you can.

    Hope this helps!

    Good luck!
look up desensitizing lubes or condoms...they're out there...

I am a 41 year old female and is seriously thinking of joining the Army Reserve what advice can you give me?

My sole purpose is for the education and to be able to stay home with my two sons and go to college full time. I am a 41 year old female and is seriously thinking of joining the Army Reserve what advice can you give me?
The education will be there but you will still be subject to deployments. Expect to be gone for basic and AIT, then to be gone again for drills and mobilization. If you are a single mother you might not be able to join at all.I am a 41 year old female and is seriously thinking of joining the Army Reserve what advice can you give me?
Well be careful. As you know we are still at war at the Reserves can go at anytime. You will have to go to Basic TNG for 9 weeks and then to AIT training. Be careful as the limit is 42 years of age so you might want to make a decision fast. If you need any help with anything feel free to email me

    \
If you're a single mom they might not let you do it. At 41 you have to consider the fact that you will be in Basic Training with a bunch of teenagers. But good luck anyways

Where is a good place to get free careers advice?

I'm 38 by the way. I understand that much free careers advice is aimed at youngsters so I thought I'd mention that.Where is a good place to get free careers advice?
    Try http://www.prospects.ac.uk/

It's geared mainly towards UK university graduates but it has a big section, under 'jobs and work', where you can explore different sectors and types of jobs with detailed info on how to get into different fields, what to expect from different types of jobs and so on. Theres also further study and things like that up there, check it out.Where is a good place to get free careers advice?
Read some tips on careers on this site
A career advisor would help anyone I would imagine. I think you would need some sort of idea what you would like to do though.
I am a HR manager and the owner of Get Notices Resume. What is your question?
try yahoo answers im 64 with four degrees and occasional successes. be glad to help
I think a lot of it depends on what kind of careers advice you want. If it's how to progress your career in the field you are in then you might want to talk to Recruitment Consultants that specialise in your field or use the Internet Job Boards (may of which have careers advice section).

If you are looking for a new career or change of direction then the local Job Centre or College could be a good place to start too.

If you are looking to become self-employed and start a busines then your local Chamber of Commerce and Business Link would be good.

    Hope that helps. Good luck.
    at a careers advice centre?
Contact a local college/uni. They are always really happy to help irrespective of whether you intend to go there or not.
Have you tried the job centre? If you give them a call and explain your situation, they'll probably make you an appointment to speak to someone face-to-face.
I would say any job posting web sight, sush as Careerbuilder, Hotjobs, and Indeed. Try the unemployment office, job fairs I know thats where you find jobs, but those people know what the trends are.

What happens once a phone interview has been completed? Advice?

I have a phone interview with two companies tomorrow morning, one is for 10am and the other is for 1130am.

I am not nervous at all. I just want to know what happens after the phone interview, I have NEVER had a phone interview, only face to face interviews.

    Tips? Advice.

Thanks. What happens once a phone interview has been completed? Advice?
If they like you based on the phone interview, THEN they will bring you in for a more formal interview(s). The phone interview is a new added step in the hiring process these days. What happens once a phone interview has been completed? Advice?
I did a phone interview 2 times in the past year one of them I never heard from again so I guess I did not answer the way they wanted , the other I got an interview but once I went to the company it was so corporate i did not fit in i felt it and i am sure they did too so i did not get the job. anyhow answer clearly , speak slowly and if they are interested they will either ask you to come in for an interview or they will call and arrange one.

Good Luck I hope you get 1 of the jobs its so tough out there take it from someone who has been looking for 4 months now.
the phone is just a screening interview to make sure you are not crazy or anything. usually they tell you when they will follow up. the rejection (if there is one) usually comes pretty quick. and depending on company the schedule of a real interview should come in about a week.
I can't answer for all but our company will organise a face to face interview if the Phone interview goes well.

The phone interview is usually used to short list.

2001 Kia Sportage 4cyl. Seems to be running on 2 cyl Any advice?

if it is, then ONE of your ignition coils has died. maybe its just corrosion on the connector though..

they use 2 coil packs, one for the #1 and #4 cylindres and the other coil pack for the #2 and #3 cylinders. it firs 2 cylinders at the same time, one on the top of the compression stroke and the other at the top of the exhaust stroke. of course the exhaust stroke is a wasted spark, but it`s easier to just fire at 2 cylinders at once rather than make a distruibiter and all that.

  • Why is it so difficult to find INDEPENDENT financial advice?

Every financial adviser or planner seems to steer us into investments that give them the best trail-ling commissions or a complete waste of time.

What is the trick to getting to the truth? Why is it so difficult to find INDEPENDENT financial advice?
They work for money. That's the problem there. They are not rich, they are not retired.

I wouldn't get advice off them!

I am a certified financial Planner as i had to be to give advice.

I have retired wealthy and they frown upon me giving seminars and investment strategy's. I have proof mine works, they have a computer program. And that's it.

The trick is. If you pay someone if you pay cheap you will get your commission based advisers.

Go to a planner tell him you plans when you want to retire, what you want to invest in. They can't pick the shares for you or pick an investment property. That's up to you. You tell them what you want. And they need to tell you how to get there. If they say $200 a month in managed funds. Then you go find your own.

Also see which way they are pushing, ask about all investment strategies. Make sure they give you options.

To keep it short they are there to keep you on track and make a plan to achieve you goals. Not specifically recommend a product. Why is it so difficult to find INDEPENDENT financial advice?
If you find an adviser whose compensation is based on the time they spend on your relationship and receive no other compensation then you can be sure to find someone that is providing conflict free advice. HFH Planning is a registered investment adviser that charges solely by the hour and receives no fees or commissions from the advice given. The firm's approach is comprehensive and includes all aspects of a person's finances.
Consider fee-for-service advisors. Here they do not make a commission from the recommendations, instead charging you an upfront or on-going fee. There is little bias here. The advisor's income is dependent on the quality of his/her advice.
For-fee adviser who does not get commission from whatever you purchase, but works for a flat fee. If you hire the ';free'; advisers they actually are getting paid out of commission.

I am not that good at chemistry could anyone who is a genius at chemistry give me any advice?

People in particular who have achived A* grades in As chemistry. I have revised but when see the questions I crumble any tips would useful for help during the exam.I am not that good at chemistry could anyone who is a genius at chemistry give me any advice?
I would agree with JOhn M. I always do the questions I know first. In an exam it is easy to get stressed out and spend far to long trying to answer a question you don't know and then not have time to do the ones that you do know.

Also, often there is a question that might require you to produce a graph/diagram. I always look at how many marks these are worth, if they are only worth a few but the diagram will take you a lojng time, then leave it till last.I am not that good at chemistry could anyone who is a genius at chemistry give me any advice?
Although somehow I got an A* at GCSE Chemistry and am now doing it for A-Level, I don't think I'm a genius at the subject lol but I know exactly how you feel.

From hindsight and what you are saying, I think the best thing would be to get hold of all the papers you can for your board and go through them all really thoroughly. If you've learnt everything, you just now need to polish your exam tips and try and learn the mark schemes especially for the long answer questions. Once you've got used to them, try and do them under timed/exam conditions so when you're put under pressure in the exam, it won't be a shock.

Finally, one of the keys to success is believing in yourself. Try not to assume that a question is impossible. Just take a moment, breathe and the answer will come to you.

Hope this helps and good luck for your exams! Remember its all worth it in the end! :)
Browse through the entire exam before starting to answer any questions. Identify the questions you know and answer those first.

Once that's done, stay calm and don't panic. Re-read the questions you didn't answer on the first pass. Identify what the question is asking. Instead of concentrating on what you don't know, focus on what you do know and how it applies to the problem you are working on. Chances are that if you can get started correctly, then things will fall into place. Even if you aren't 100% correct, you will probably qualify for partial credit.

Don't cram for the test - you won't remember anything that way.

These things helped me during exams. Good luck!
    Do not lose your self-confidence.

when you enter the examination hall assume that you are the topper.

when you see the paper and you do not know some question then do not think that i am not the topper but think if the topper could not do this question what would be the condition of the other students.

I am a compulsive spender, do you have any advice for me on how to save money?

I feel that my long hours spent at work are punishment. As a reward, I tend to spend a lot of money on unnecessary items. How can I get out of this mentality and start saving some money?I am a compulsive spender, do you have any advice for me on how to save money?
Compulsive spending can start from many different places. It might help you to first consider how and why you spend. Ask yourself these questions and write down the answers: When do I find it most important to shop and spend? What do I usually buy? How many of the things I buy are actually useful to me? Are there ways that I can do a little spending without spending too much money?

When you've identified some of your habits, you can see where they come from. Sometimes we spend when we are bored, or lonely, or feel that we're not allowed to have the lifestyle we believe we're supposed to have. Sometimes we spend when we're alone, so that there's no one there to suggest that we 'don't need' what we're shopping for. When you look at some of those reasons, you may find ways to help you curb your habits.

One sure way to help with spending is to become aware of what exactly you're buying. Start by looking at the things you bring home, look at the receipt from your purchases, and match them up. You'd be surprised to see that what's in the bag actually DID cost money; probably more money than you ever intended on spending.

Another way to help your buying is to buy differently. You can easily become something of a bargain hunter, and end up saving yourself tons of money by buying smartly. This can actually become a very fun game when you get into it. Being able to save money is one way to take advantage of the fun you get from shopping.

Now, as to saving money, it's simply a habit that you need to form. Keep your money in a savings account and remember that that money is off limits for spending. Doing this through your bank is one way, but also consider opening an online bank account, or opening a stock account online. The usual minimum for this about $500, but you'd be amazed at how cool it is to actually buy some stock and see how it's doing in the market. It's not quite as fun as spending, but when you see your money grow, it's very gratifying.

I am a compulsive spender, do you have any advice for me on how to save money?
Give yourself an allowance in cash each week for rewards/motivating yourself to keep working. Once you've spent your cash, don't buy anything else fun or unneccessary. If you really want to save money, you should track all of your expenses for a month and create a budget. Also, set goals for buying more expensive items that you'd like (but might not need) and keep the money in a different account, drawer, or envelope.
If you really want to ';reward'; yourself for your hard work, you will ';pay yourself first'; -- put a set amount each payday straight into your ';opportunity fund'; or ';future fund'; or ';wealth creation fund.'; Since when is a TV or worthless knick-knack or yet another t-shirt a ';reward'; for a week's work? Stop selling yourself short. Are you really worth a real investment in your future, or are you a piece of trash like the last bit of schlock you splurged on? When you want to splurge, ask yourself that question. What you are really worth -- and what you want to be worth?
If you have direct deposit at work, have a portion of your check sent immediately into a savings account - preferably one that you can only take money out of electronically, like emigrantdirect.com or ingdirect.com. You can still withdraw money, but it takes a couple of days - so you can't impulse shop as much.
use coupons and off-brand products. Normally is just a different packaging anyway.

I need advice on 3 to 4 Cities to visit in Europe within minimal cost. I am currently in Amsterdam.?

I am planning to have a very brief tour of Europe with my family. Mainly for kids. Currently I am in Amsterdam. But cost is the constraint. Hence I am looking for 3/4 places to see in Europe during May. This needs to be within minimal cost. Can anybody please suggest which places I should see.I need advice on 3 to 4 Cities to visit in Europe within minimal cost. I am currently in Amsterdam.?
If you stay in Amsterdam and want to go and return to Amsterdam:

Zaanse Schans, Haarlem, Maastricht, any of the other towns in the Netherlands, Antwerp, Brussels, Cologne, Dusseldorf.

(The farther in the list, the farther from Amsterdam, mostly that is.)

If you want to travel there but not return to Amsterdam, eastern Europe, the smaller towns are still much cheaper than the towns in the west, but going and returning will add to your costs.

All the smaller towns of Czech republic, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Luthuania, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Croatia, and I am sure to forget a few.

If you want to make a highlights of Europe trip, you can not miss London, Paris and can choose many cities as third and forth.

If you book soon you can get EasyJet tickets towards London for relatively little.

For Paris, search for TGV tickets, those are most likely the cheapest.

In London and Paris you can stay in hostels, make sure you get one within the city, so you can start with walking and only need public transport once or twice a day. In Paris I have stayed with: http://www.mije.com/index_individuels_uk鈥?/a>

I do not know if they do family rooms, but if they do (or just a 4 bed dorm) it is a good place to stay, (each of them,) and in a nice central location.

For London I do not have an address handy, but there are many hostels in London that are not too expensive and centrally located.

Do your shopping sensible, buy lunch and/or dinner in a supermarket.

Go only one paid touristy thing per day (to keep the costs down,) and search for many free things to do.

London and Paris are not cheap, no way, but it might be worth it.I need advice on 3 to 4 Cities to visit in Europe within minimal cost. I am currently in Amsterdam.?
london and rome is a no no if money if is a problem. barcelona would be great for the kids money wise it was v good for me but i went for the drink 2 for 1 offers but not sure about kids.valencia is another really good place have you considered pisa
Stay near the Netherlands: Brussels, over the border in Germany somewhere, there's the Fantasialand part which they would enjoy, it's not far from Cologne, and maybe Paris.
    london, paris and rome!

    if not then,

a hot country in greece ( the beaches ) malta (the history) italy (its just a must-see!)

    hope that helpss :)

Never make an important decision on one feeling, instead, combine all your instincts to form a conclusive and wise decision. Take chances based on your gut, it is the one thing that tells you when a risk is willing to take or not, its instincts are true in near seconds. In the same aspect, once instinct is derived, you must follow your heart, it is the one thing that will never lie to you. This heart leads into your soul, for it is the one thing that defines you as it knows you best. And finally, use your wisdom of all justly, wisdom of these is the one thing that can make you successful in life鈥檚 endeavors or a failure. Judge such success by that of virtue, love and happiness vice status and money, those are nothing more than perks. Such a task comes at no ease; however if we sit back and take a minute to think through, this system can lead many to the lives we desire. Dont know the address to very visa in hyderabad.I have got a work permit New zealand visa and wanted to check whether it is Genuine? Please advice me?
Did you make an application for a New Zealand work permit?

It is a complex process and even if you have an agent, there is a lot of paperwork that you must complete and sign before a work permit is granted and you must provide a great deal of information. If you didn't go through that type of process, the 'work permit' is definitely fake.

Contact the New Zealand High Commission in New Delhi and ask if you're still unsure:

Whatever you do, do NOT pay any money to the consultant.I have got a work permit New zealand visa and wanted to check whether it is Genuine? Please advice me?
if you did not apply yourself for that visa? how can it be real?

did you find a job? and apply for the work visa?

you do not need to check it. why would anyone send you a work visa?
Google ';New Zealand consulate India'; and get in touch with them to ask this. They will send you straight back home from NZ if you arrive on a false visa.
poor little indian don't you know you can get in trouble for that?

Why doesn't he want to be alone with me? Should I make the move? [please help!! I need advice!]

I've had a crush on him since i met him in the beginning of summer. Everyone could tell he was attracted to me..He's tried to kiss me like 3 times but I always got shy and pushed him away. On one of those nights, I told him I had a crush on him and then I let him kiss me. After that, i went on a trip and he asked my sister about me and she said i didn't mean anything i said or did that night.but he still came to my house when i got back to say happy birthday to me.i hadnt seen him for about a month since then bc after that, he got a dui after a frat hazing. He's also really dorky/shy/sweet and probably thought i wasnt interested so i made the first move by inviting him over to watch a movie at my house and he asked me out to the movies (he's friends with my brother and asked him if it was ok to take me out) but on the ';date'; he brought his brother and his gf..which i thought was weird. He didnt try to make a move but we had a great time tho and talked a lot and by the end of the night he said we should hang out again soon (he seemed kinda nervous). The other night he asked my brother if he could come over our house to hang out but my brother didnt want to pick him up. so i texted him a week ago about hanging out one friday and he seemed excited about it..so i texted him again yesterday to see if he was busy tomorrow night and he said he couldnt come cuz he had work..but said we should do it another day of the week for sure...the weird thing is...he told me to invite 2 other friends too so we could have ';drinking games';...why? I wanted to be alone with him. (I'm 18, he's 20 by the way and im leaving for NYU aug 24) I'm just really confused lol what should i do? i dont want to seem pushy but he's not getting the idea (i just want to kiss him before I leave)..any advice would be great! =)..oh and he's coming to my goodbye party on friday

Why doesn't he want to be alone with me? Should I make the move? [please help!! I need advice!]
omg i could only read about 5 lines of that before i totally lost interest. whatever it is, it's definitely not that complicated.

just follow your instincts, you're leaving soon anyways so what's the big deal? Why doesn't he want to be alone with me? Should I make the move? [please help!! I need advice!]
    to long sorry
    i actually read it :]

i may not be much help but i think that wat ur sis said really did bother him...and maybe hes upset. that or he doesnt want to be alone cuz hes worried he'll make a move and then get pushed away again
maybe hes trying to be a gentlemen; which is a good thing. or it could be that hes nervous but guys would never admit to that. and no you shouldnt make the first move; when the time is right, he will make the first move(be patience):
