I have been offered a test shoot with a modelling agency, any advice?

It is a reputable agency - it's on the albamodel.info list. They say it will last 5 minutes so I won't have long to impress them. I don't have any experience with this sort of work, so just wondered if anyone had any tipsI have been offered a test shoot with a modelling agency, any advice?
Reputable or not, only do what you are prepared to do and that makes you feel comfortable. You hear such terrible stories.

Bring someone with you. Be careful!
Just 5 minutes?? Sketchy... they should want to get to know you better. Granted, most auditions they know within the first few seconds if you fit the role... but for finding an agent? ehhhh... Don't pay them any money for ANYTHING - that's up to them to find you work. Just be cautious in everything you do. Most people in this business are NOT your friends. Be safe...





For the test shoot - just be yourself. You don't want advice that will make you cookie-cutter like everyone else. Don't wear black or white, and don't wear crazy prints. Be excited to be there, and do you're very best. Ask them questions about their business. Ask how much they take from your paycheck, how often they will send you out on go-see's and auditions. Ask if there are any contracts involved.

ah, I see....well, just be natural. they will be focused on your bone structure and how well you can take instructions. a pleasant personality is important, even in modelling!
always take someone with you...a friend, parent, whoever. just dont go alone. this place may seem legit but you just never know. be careful and good luck!
